Wild in Art is delighted to be working with About the Place on the development of Woa! Rhino.  Building on the success of our other events, Woa! Rhino is sure to capture the public’s imagination while driving economic benefits and ultimately benefiting two very worthy causes.

Public Trail

One of the best parts of the Woa! Rhino project is sharing our creativity with members of the public.  This is a fun-filled project for all the family and we are working hard to find different ways of getting you involved.
  • We will enable you to watch or talk to some of the artists as they work (the first activity will happen at Oxford Castle during Oxfordshire Artweeks in May 2011 - more details soon);
  • We will create a full public trail in the Spring of 2012 so that you can go out and meet our rhinos and explore the County of Oxfordshire for the first time, or through new eyes;
  • We will look at competitions to get you thinking about our rhinos and our tangram logo.

Remember, if you want one of our rhinos in your local area you will need to encourage someone local (a group or a business) to sponsor one and your local primary school to work with us and our education programme.

Here are some of the places that we have been so far as we build up momentum (find pictures on our "News" page or on our Facebook page):

  • Oxford University Museum of Natural History
  • The Kassam Stadium
  • Cornerstone in Didcot
  • B-Line Stationery Supplies
